Spy Shots: Jaguar's New and More Powerful XFR-S Spotted in Production Trim


It's been about a year since our spies captured a mildly modded prototype of what we believed to be at the time an early test mule of a hardcore version of the XFR, much in the likes of the XKR-S.

Now, we can show you the first images of the XFR-S wearing its production body armor, which includes a newly designed front bumper with massive air vents and a lip spoiler, side skirts and a larger boot lid spoiler than the one found on the regular XFR.

Jaguar Presents All-Wheel Drive Versions of 2013 XF and XJ Sedans with Supercharged V6


Just last month, Jaguar detailed the 2013MY versions of its XF and XJ saloons, both of which benefit from new engines including a 335-horsepower (340PS) supercharged V6 for the XF and XJ and a 237hp (240PS) 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four for the XF, as well as the widespread use of an 8-speed automatic.

But the British brand wasn't done yet with the model year changes as today, Jaguar announced the introduction of all-wheel drive to the 2013 XF and XJ ranges.

Romanian Police Now Equipped With 510bhp Jaguar XFR


If you are planning to rob any banks and make a quick highway getaway in Romania in the near future, don’t. The country's highway patrol division just received a 510bhp XFR.

Like we’ve seen before, the Romanian boys in blue get all the cool toys. A 350bhp Lotus Evora S was given to them last year making it their fastest police car ever. Now, the new XFR comes into the station as their most powerful car ever.

Jaguar Confirms 4-Cylinder Turbo and Supercharged V6 Engines for U.S.


The shift in consumer preferences to less thirsty, lighter and more CO2 efficient powertrains has resulted in Jaguar's response by confirming the availability of its new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.0-liter supercharged V6 gasoline engines for the United States. Read more »
