DMC's Lamborghini Aventador Molto Veloce LP900 Debuts on Video

German sports and luxury car tuner DMC wants to cater to the needs of those who prefer to see its products on film and at least in some sort of action, with a new video for its rather colorful Lamborghini Aventador Molto Veloce LP900.

We do have to admit, though, the clip has far more music going on for it than what we would have preferred, especially given the Aventador's wonderful V12 music track and which is said to be further enhanced by DMC's titanium exhaust system that weighs only 1/10th of the stock unit (34kg).

Even if you are inexperienced or not mechanically inclined, we doubt that any sane person would keep pressing on the pedal of an expensive Italian supercar with a smoking (in the literal sense) V12 engine, which is what we are allegedly seeing in this video.

What makes us skeptical about the clip is not only the comical stupidity of the Lamborghini Murcielago's driver and helpers, but also the fact that the Italian model is dressed in "Vodka" decals and that the user who uploaded the video on YouTube is called…"Ultrapremiumvodka" – viral, anyone?

It may not look like it, but when the Gallardo was first launched in 2003, its direct rival was the Ferrari 360.

While Maranello has since launched two new models to compete with the "raging bull", the Sant’ Agata-based supercar maker has simply responded by refreshing the Gallardo and presenting numerous special edition versions.

This practice proved quite successful, as with nearly 13,000 units sold to date, the "baby Lambo" is the brand's best-selling model ever.

Just moments ago, Lamborghini dropped a brand-new teaser video previewing a Gallardo model, to be officially revealed at the 2012 edition of the Paris Motor Show on Thursday.

For now, the Sant'Agata-based supercar maker is holding its cards firm to its chest with the short film simply showing numerous components of the car before it reveals a new Gallardo logo towards the end.

Carscoop subscribes by the dictum that you can never really have too much of a good thing. Especially when we are talking about supercars and even more so, if it concerns a Lamborghini or two…

So, while we have already shown you our fair share of raging bull models, we thought that a video of stealthy matte black Aventador (ed's note: our choice of paint if we ever win the lottery) and a retina-piercing orange Gallardo Performante, aka the open-top version of the Superleggera, wouldn’t go amiss.

After all those recent Ferrari accidents, it's time for Poland to claim a Lamborghini – a matte grey Murcielago, to be precise.

According to CarScoop tipster Adam, the accident took place in the center of Wroclaw, which is the largest city in western Poland, on Sunday afternoon.

It's not clear whether the driver of the Murcielago lost control of the Italian supercar or as some reports have suggested, that he...couldn't decide if he wanted to continue straight or go towards the tunnel. Either way, he smashed into the brick ledge destroying the car.

Most Lamborghini supercars in a drivable condition are out of reach for most people, even more so if we are talking about one of the most expensive models to come out from Sant'agata, the $2 million Reventon.

Dubbed the Aventador LP760 Spider, this custom chop top model comes with strikingly sharp lines connecting the soon to be removable roof to the body panels of the car.

Exotic supercars like the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 are flashy, fast and of course, loud, sometimes too much for their own good, especially when their owners have opted for aftermarket goodies such as a more hardcore exhaust system to enhance their character.

Sure, most of us petrol heads wouldn't mind hearing the wonderful sounds of a howling V12 engine on the street, but that does not mean that others will or have to agree.

The good ol' tuning folks from Hennessey Performance have just published a new video showing a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 owned by Mario Williams of the Buffalo Bills going against a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster that belongs to a one Mario Mendias of My Fit Foods.

We are not sure if any of the two cars has been tuned by Hennessey or if they are completely stock (we are waiting for a response from the tuner) but the Lamborghini blows the Mercedes in every run.

Approaching liftoff speeds on a bumpy side road that crosses between farm lands and residential properties and which is evidently used by slow moving tractors as well as regular passenger vehicles, isn't the brightest idea.

Even more so when there's a sign warning about an intersection ahead…

Luckily for these speed demons trying out a new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, nothing happened – though there's always a next time.

Whenever you compete in a race and as much as any driver would like to avoid it, there is always the possibility that something might go wrong and you end up leaving your vehicle in shambles.

Which is precisely what happened to a driver of what appears to be a fairly stock Lamborghini Gallardo during a recent racing event called 'Formula GT500 Copa' that took place in Medellin, the second largest city in the Republic of Colombia.

New Yorkers and tourists passing through Times Square were treated to a rare sight this past weekend when an assortment of specialty cars were parked on the road for their viewing pleasure.

Of course, as with design, when it comes to engine sounds, everybody has different preferences, which makes this competition between a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 and a Lexus LFA that met up under a tent at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix 2012 event this month all the more interesting.

The organizers of the popular Unlimited 500+ event in Moscow, Russia, briefly halted their regular program of 1-mile drag races to host a 10-car duel in order to crown the tuned vehicle with the highest top speed.

Among the ten cars that took part in the race were a 1,500hp Lamborghini Gallardo Nera TT, a 900hp Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9, a 700hp Nissan GT-R and a 1,000hp Porsche 911 Turbo.
